Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Skillshare BD, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must provide a valid email address and accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity under your account.

You may register as either a student or a teacher. Each role has different capabilities and responsibilities as described below.

Students may browse exams, take free or paid exams, view results, and appear on leaderboards.

You agree not to share exam content (questions, answer keys) outside the platform, attempt to cheat or manipulate scores, or create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages.

Teachers may upload question papers, set answer keys, publish exams (free or paid), and receive revenue from paid attempts.

You represent that you have the right to distribute any content you upload. You must not upload copyrighted material without authorisation, publish misleading or fraudulent exams, or manipulate pricing in bad faith.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend teacher accounts that violate these terms.

Paid exams are charged at the price set by the teacher at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through bKash or Stripe.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If an exam is found to be defective (e.g. wrong answer key, missing content), students may request a refund by contacting support@skillshare.bd.

Teacher payouts are processed according to the payout schedule visible in the teacher wallet. We deduct a platform fee before disbursement.

Content uploaded by teachers remains the intellectual property of the teacher. By uploading content to Skillshare BD, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute the content on the platform.

The Skillshare BD name, logo, and platform design are our property and may not be used without permission.

You may not: reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the platform; attempt to access other users' accounts or data; distribute malware or spam through the platform; use the platform for any illegal purpose.

We may review, remove, or restrict access to any content that violates these terms or that we deem harmful, misleading, or inappropriate. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our policies.

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, data loss, or errors in scoring, except where caused by our gross negligence.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases. Data retention follows our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
